Jackson & McGee, LLP, combines the work of two experienced trial lawyers — Gary W. Jackson and Sam McGee. Both attorneys were trained at top schools and are well recognized in the legal community. Gary W. Jackson is a graduate of Duke Law School and has been practicing law for more than 30 years and holds leadership positions in several national and state legal organizations. He is a former federal clerk and "big firm" attorney who has dedicated his career to protecting the rights of clients including nursing home injury victims. His recent accomplishments include selection to Business North Carolina's "Legal Elite," "Outstanding Lawyers of America", Litigation Counsel of America, and from 2005-2009 he was named a North Carolina Super Lawyer.
Sam McGee is a graduate of Yale Law School and former clerk on the United States Court of Appeals. Attorney McGee has lectured on Nursing Home litigation to the Southern Trial Lawyers Association , the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the North Carolina Bar Association. He has successfully represented the families of several nursing home residents who suffered wrongful death as the result of bed sores, falls, dehydration and malnutrition.
